- Uptime Guarantee
- An assurance that a hosting company's uptime will meet an agreed-upon percentage.

On paper, many hosts may have similar-sounding uptime guarantees, which differ greatly in practice.
for example:
- Does the host proactively notify you if their monthly downtime is excessive, or must you notify the host and provide documentation?
- Does the host even honor their guarantee?
